The workshop on marine organisms at the Makarska Malacological Museum

14.06.2023.

Our researchers don’t rest even on the weekends! Last weekend, scientist Ph.D. Daria Ezgeta Balić held an interesting workshop for children at the Museum of Malacology in Makarska.

Through lectures and games, we introduced the children to fascinating marine organisms. We talked about the marine ecosystem, its importance and conservation. The children had the opportunity to ask questions, present their ideas and share their knowledge with other participants.

Besides the workshop itself, the children had the opportunity to explore the interesting collection of the Malacological Museum and admire the shells, snails and other marine organisms exhibited there.

Many thanks to the wonderful team of the Malacological Museum and Visit Makarska for their support in organizing this workshop. A special thanks to the children who participated.

See how it was for us in the gallery prepared by Gabriela Bašić.
