The project is designed to support the Mediterranean Member States in the implementation of a coherent and coordinated biodiversity assessment and measures for the next 6-year implementation cycle of the MSFD.

The project is financed by the DG Environment, it started on 1st July, 2021 and will last for 2 years. Total value of the project is €1,245,731.

Scientists of the Laboratory for Plankton and Shellfish Toxicity participate in the work of Activity 2, in which the pelagic habitat is investigated as part of descriptor 1.
