Our scientists are attending the CLIMAREST project meeting in Malaga this week together with colleagues from the Public Institution for Coordination and Development of Split-Dalmatia County.
CLIMAREST is one of the main “lighthouse” projects of the “Restore our Ocean and Waters” mission, which aims to restore degraded ecosystems across Europe. Our institute is an associated partner in this project and we will focus on the restoration of soft bottoms under fish farms, using the knowledge and experience of colleagues from Spain.
Such initiatives are crucial for improving the state of the ecosystem and we are very happy that our institute is part of this consortium.
