Abstract submission and registration are now open for the 8th International Symposium “Genomics in Aquaculture” (GIA 2026)

The international symposium Genomics in Aquaculture (GIA 2026) will take place in Split from 4 to 6 May 2026, at the Technology Park Split (TPS). The event is hosted by the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, Croatia’s leading scientific institution in the fields of marine biology, fisheries and aquaculture.

The symposium continues its long-standing tradition of presenting the latest research and innovations in the rapidly developing area of aquaculture genomics, bringing together the international scientific and professional community.

Abstract submission and participant registration are now open. All details on symposium topics, submission guidelines, registration fees and the programme are available on the official website.

The deadline for abstract submission is 15 February 2026, and notifications of acceptance will be sent on 28 February 2026. Early registration is open until 1 March 2026, and regular registration until 1 May 2026.
