The BLUECONNECT project aims to foster collaboration between businesses, universities, research centers, and educational institutions to jointly adopt new technologies and innovations, thereby strengthening sustainable development and the competitiveness of the Blue Growth sector in the region.
Last week, a consortium meeting of the project was held in Mostar, during which our scientists presented the activities carried out so far and participated in the interactive workshop “Blue Growth Clustering.” The workshop brought together representatives of the Blue Growth real sector, relevant institutions, local and regional authorities, and the academic community.
A particular focus was placed on presenting the results of Blue Growth mapping in the region and developing the Blue Growth Digital Collaboration Platform—a digital platform designed to connect stakeholders in the field of the blue economy. The workshop was an excellent opportunity for knowledge and experience exchange, as well as for the further development of the regional Blue Growth cluster between Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
The BLUECONNECT project is funded through the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro programme
