Teaching activities

The Institute is as a teaching base for the Department of Marine Studies at the University of Split. As part of this collaboration, the Institute’s staff participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Department. The courses are mainly held on the University campus, while some practical classes may be held at the Institute.

The Institute’s scientists also participate in activities related to postgraduate doctoral studies, including Applied Marine Sciences at the University of Split and Oceanology at the University of Zagreb. Together with the University of Split and the University of Dubrovnik, the Institute was one of the organizers of the postgraduate doctoral program in Applied Marine Sciences.
